Dan Hoffman

Construction Division Director

Dan Hoffman, the Native Evergreen construction division director, was born and raised in upstate New York. His love of the mountains lured him west to Montana State University where he got his BS in Horticulture & Landscape Design with a minor in snow science at Bridger Bowl. He moved to Sun Valley in 2004, to begin his long-standing career as a landscape project manager. With over 20 years of experience, Dan has installed countless landscape projects ranging from residential and commercial landscapes to riparian restoration and mine reclamation projects. He enjoys the diversity and complexity of each project, the creative problem solving required for their implementation and a true sense of accomplishment watching the finished product flourish with each passing season. When not at work, “Danimal” spends most of his time sharing his love of adventure exploring Idaho and beyond with his wife Casey, son Rowan and their dog Stu.
